The European Association for Local Democracy is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to the promotion of good governance and citizen participation at the local level. ALDA focuses on activities that facilitate cooperation between local authorities and civil society.
ALDA Secretary General Antonella Valmorbida was invited for the second time to Lomé, Togo by the Union of Municipalities of Togo and the Delegation of the European Union. She attended as a keynote speaker on decentralisation.
