Discovering the potential of ALDA's work in Moldova with CALM
The Secretary General of ALDA, Mrs. Antonella Valmorbida, met the Director of CALM, Viorel Furdui and with Alexandru Osadci, who contributed to many of the events of ALDA in these years. The meeting took place last Friday at the CALM office in Chisenau. It was extremely interesting and productive and it opens many possibilities of work in Moldova.
The need to develop true decentralisation accompanied with the support to the citizens' participation is among the key message shared during the meeting. ALDA is interested in starting and developing activities in Moldova, which is among one of the most steering countries from the Eastern Partnership that signed the Association Agreement and for which the visa regime to EU is not applied any more.
"I am impressed by the commitment and the professionalism of my colleagues in CALM and I am sure that there are plenty of things to do together to support local democracy and local governance in Moldova. I am looking forward to it", confirmed Antonella Valmorbida.
