LDA Dnipropetrovsk partner meeting in Wrocław
On 18 November in Wrocław, Poland, the second meeting of partners of LDA Dnipropetrovsk took place.
The LDA Delegate, Ms Anzhelika Pylypenko, and her deputy, Mr Kirill Batalov, met with the representatives of the Marshall’s office of Lower Silesia, Ms Celestyna Owsianko-Górczyńska, the head of the international cooperation department, and her colleagues, Ms Anna Panenka and Ms Aleksandra Mirowska-Piałucha, as well as Mr Waldemar Weihs from the Merkury Foundation and the Lower Silesia Federation of NGOs and our colleague, Ela Horoszko, Project Manager and Eastern Partnership Coordinator. The Ukrainian partners joined via a Skype connection.
Anzhelika update the partners on the activities of the LDA over the past few months including a number of speaking events in Ukrainian media to promote effective local self-governance and citizen participation. She also spoke about the plans for the near future such as developing a number of projects to support IDPs in the region.
The Lower Silesia Federation of NGOs has also officially joined the LDA partnership.
On 19 – 21 November Anzhelika and Kirill together with Waldemar are travelling to Hanover, the capital of Lower Saxony, to meet with the local Association of Parity Organisations to discuss cooperation opportunities.
