Working on adult education and tackling unemployment - ALDA at the steering committee of the project BDBO in Craiova, Romania.
Matteo Cocco participated as representative of ALDA in the third transnational meeting of the project Break Down Break Out (BDBO) held from 6th to 10th December 2015 in Craiova, Romania. The meeting was an occasion for bringing together all the partners, assessing the state of play of the project and plannig the following local and international activities. Further, the training event that took place in parallel to the steering committee represented an opportunity to implement the OBAMA methodology (community Orientation, Briefing, Ability, Meeting and Action).
Several case studies and practical scenarios were analyzed as well as ways to address the situations have been shared among the partners for identifying a common path of intervention. The key of the OBAMA process is the will to act within the community of reference and to provide people with the tools so as to understand how to develop their potential. The experience of the two-year project will be summarised in the final publication and in the virtual platform.
ALDA, as implementing partner in France, attended the meeting along with representatives of ADA - Agir pour le développement Africain, an association active in Strasbourg on the field of migrants’ integration. We are looking forward for the next transnational and training event that will take place next year in Strasbourg.
