Multilateral Youth Exchange: "The sound that brings us together"
On 8 July 2016, 40 French-speaking youngsters from 4 different countries, Belgium, Reunion Island (France), Macedonia and Serbia, met in Struga (Macedonia) for an 8-days youth exchange dedicated to music.
The project "The sound that brings us together" meets youngsters’ expectations of making their own instruments and playing music together by using their creations, while learning the musical traditions of each country. During the one-week creative workshops, youngsters will make simple instruments using cardboard, paper, elastic, rope, wood, etc.
The Creative workshops will also be dedicated to music creation, discovery and practice of traditional music of the countries involved, and use of digital technologies in music. Youngsters will finally set a stage for a theater performance in a friendly atmosphere.
This exchange is financially supported by the Erasmus + European programme, and carried out by ALDA Skopje in partnership with the associations "Maison des jeunes des Banneux" from Belgium, "Jules Vernes" from Serbia and " Vivre ensemble avec nos différences" from Reunion Island (France).
