ALDA at the Conference of Francophone Youth in Paris
The conference of Young Francophones (CJF) was held on the 26th and 27th of October 2016, at the International University Campus in Paris. The conference adopted the same topics the following Francophonie Summit "Shared growth and responsible development: the conditions of stability in the world and the Francophone space".
The conference gathered nearly 300 young people from different countries of the Francophone space. Our colleagues Ivana Dimitrovska and Katica Janeva were invited to actively participate in the conference.
Ivana Dimitrovska led the workshop dedicated to management of community projects following the examples of ALDA’s projects. Katica Janeva has been selected to be part of the drafting committee of the Francophone Youth Declaration. The Committee consists of 20 young people representing 9 regions of the Francophone space, and were selected as part of the project "Youth involvement in the Francophone decision-making bodies".
The conference aimed to give opportunity to young francophones to raise their voice about the issues they face in their countries. Following the conference, the Francophone Youth Declaration validated by Francophone youth was released. This declaration will be submitted to the Heads of State at the Francophonie Summit in Madagascar.
