Civil Society recommendations for Public Administration and Local Governments Reforms in EaP Countries
ALDA, as Coordinator of the subgroup of WG1 of Civil Society Forum, is proud to share the recent publication: “Update on Local Government and Public Administration reform in Eastern Partnership Countries”.
The document studies the current state of reforms in Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia and Azerbaijan, giving a detailed overview in the areas of decentralisation, local finance and budgets, control and supervision, public administration etc. The paper is particularly important, as Public Administration and Local Government Reform in the Eastern Partnership countries is considered one of the main objectives to reach in the upcoming years that was reflected in Review of the European Neighbourhood Policy in 2015 as well as underlined in CORLEAP Action Plan 2016-2017. It has been also proven that EAP region is today in the process of significant challenges, expectations and reforms.
