Forum “EU perspectives for local authorities” in Macedonia - Call for Macedonian participants
The Forum “EU perspectives for local authorities” will be organized from 29 to 31 March 2017 in Bitola, Macedonia.
The Forum will gather 70 representatives from local and national authorities and other relevant stakeholders in the field of decentralization. The aim of the Forum is to tackle the questions of EU integration and EU funds while highlighting the role of local authorities. This 3-days event proposes series of training and information sessions, workshops and debates.
The participation on the Forum is open to: civil servants from municipalities, members of municipal councils, representatives of Centers for Regional development or CSOs from Macedonia. You will find more information on the official call for participant’s bellow.
The deadline for applying is 6th March 2017.
The forum is organized in the framework of the Programme for Decentralised Cooperation Normandy-Macedonia, which is coordinated by ALDA (European Association for Local Democracy) in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the Secretariat of European Affairs. The project is supported by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Region Normandy.
