Balkan LDAs embracing new challenges together
7 LDAs from the Balkans, together with ALDA Skopje and representatives of municipalities involved in the project, ALDA and LDA Albania met in Podgorica for three days to discuss the activities in the 4th year of the Balkan Regional Platform for Youth Participation and Dialogue, as well as their development as a network and the new projects they’re implementing.
2018 is the final year of the implementation of the Balkan Regional Platform for Youth Participation and Dialogue, but it’s not the end for the Regional Network for Local Democracy. This network consists of 7 LDAs from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Kosovo and ALDA Skopje. Together, they work on the improvement of the cooperation and the coordination between civil society and the public authorities with the active participation of youngsters.
The final year of the project will include regional forum, international youth event, youth taking over days in the local municipalities and celebration of youth day, besides the ongoing functioning of Regional youth advisory groups, team of Youth Engagement Workers, Youth Correspondents and Info Points in the involved municipalities.
The Balkan Regional Platform for Youth Participation is coordinated by ALDA, and realized by LDA Central and Southern Serbia, LDA Kosovo, LDA Mostar, LDA Montenegro, LDA Prijedor, LDA Subotica, LDA Zavidovici and ALDA Skopje. It is financed by the European Union.
