CONFERENCE ON THE YOUTH POLICY FOR THE CITY OF SKOPJE (28 November 2012)
Within the framework of the decentralised cooperation between the Lower Normandy Region and Macedonia, the Coalition of Youth Organizations SEGA in partnership with the City of Skopje, the Regional Council of Lower Normandy and the House of Europe in Caen launches the project “Creation of the Local Youth Policy for the City of Skopje”. As a result, a conference „Youth policy for the City of Skopje“ will be held on 28th November 2012 in the Conference room in the City of Skopje. The City of Skopje, that is already ALDA member, will join the “Youth” component through this activity.
The conference will be opened by Mr. Koce Trajanovski, Mayor of the City of Skopje, Mr. Lazar Popovski, Director of the Agency of Youth and Sport, Mr. Zoran Ilieski, Executive Director of SEGA, Audrey Paulmier, Project Manager of the decentralised cooperation Lower Normandy/Macedonia, Jean-Paul Gauchard, Mayor of Ifs.
During the conference, researches on the youth trends in Macedonia and on the state of young people and youth policies in Lower Normandy and in France will be presented.
Workshops will be organised during the conference on different topics according to the National Youth Strategy priorities, such as: Education and Youth employment, Quality of life and Health, Youth participation and Information, and Culture and Local Youth work.
The conference will be organised in order to increase youth active participation in the social, economic, political and cultural life on local level through creation of Local Strategy for Young People in the City of Skopje.
