ALDA participates to the third “Agorà della Solidarietà – Agora of Solidarity”, on the 21st-24th March, in Vicenza
During this week, ALDA will take part to the Third “Agora della Solidarietà – Agorà of Solidarity”, which will be held on March 2013, 21-24, in Vicenza. The main aim of the event is to exchange best practices in the field of volunteering and the creation of new networks, at local, national and European level.
The event is organised by CSV (Volunteering Service Centre) of Vicenza, with the patronage of Veneto Region, the management Committee of the Special Regional Fund for Volunteering in Veneto, the Municipality of Vicenza, the Province of Vicenza, and ANCI (National Alliance of Italian Municipalities) Veneto.
This year, the agora has the intention to promote synergies and concrete actions concerning solidarity, through the involvement of CSOs, local authorities, associations, and high schools. Indeed, several Civil Society Organisations and Associations and many representatives of Local and Regional Authorities will attend the event. The event foresees the first “Festival of Social Project-Planning”, some conferences and debates on the main themes of the event.
ALDA is partner in the organisations of the event, and it has supported and cooperated for the success of the initiative. ALDA will not be, only, present during the four-days event, with its stand, in order to spread ALDA activities, but also ALDA Resource and Development Unit Coordinator, Mr Marco Boaria, will be one of the speaker of the Conference “We, Citizens of Europe”, on Sunday the 24th. He will focus on the exchange opportunities and life-long training, offered at European level by project-planning.
In particular, ALDA will show the implemented activities with local partners, in order to raise awareness among the participants about the potentialities, the services and the opportunities that ALDA offers to its members.
