7 ALDA' members and partners in Hungary for a study visit
From 9th to 12th April 2012, 7 representatives of organisations members and partners of ALDA participated in a study visit organised in Hungary within the project Grundtvig, Network for Community Developement with marginalized groups.
This project, in which ALDA is partner, started in August 2011 focus on Community work and citizen participation with disadvantaged or marginalized groups in numerous and diverse locations throughout Europe. The aim of the project is to allow for the mutual learning of innovative tools of community work with marginalized social groups in order to strengthen the capacity of partnering organisation to introduce methodological innovations cutting across professional boundaries in combating poverty and supporting the social integration and citizen participation of excluded social groups.
This study visit in Hungary was the last one of the project and focus in particular on the issue of Roma people in Hungary. Participants visited numerous local associations dealing with this issue and trying to facilitate the inclusion of Roma people in the Hungarian society. They had the occasion to share good practices in the field of community development and tools to help marginalized groups to be more included in society.
