Final meeting of the project "European Civil Resource Centres"
ALDA’s delegation composed of Aldo Xhani, Sanja Trpkovska, Marta Ciappelloni and Clara Camerlingo attended the final international partners’ meeting of the project “ECRC – European Civil Resource Centres”. The event took place in Bansko, Bulgaria from 16-19 October and gathered together 7 partner organisations coming from Italy, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Romania, Greece, Austria and Latvia.
The meeting was an occasion to showcase the outcomes of the activities set up at local level and to assess, through debates and exchange of experience, the strengths and weaknesses of the entire implementation phase. Particular emphasis was put on the capacity of involving citizens, civil society organisations and local authorities in the set of workshops organised in partners’ territory. The event was therefore a further opportunity for exchanging new ideas and good practices on citizen participation at local and European level.
The partners agreed upon the need of strengthening the Centre’s initiatives and, in particular, the quality of its services in order to widen the number of potential stakeholders to be targeted. Upon this basis, the partners also discussed the possibility of continuing the cooperation within the new granted project and how the previous weaknesses can be overtaken.
