During their five-day visit, the youngsters visited the local community in Vlae where they met people with special needs from Karpoš and were able to establish friendly relationships with them and familiarized them with the landmarks of the commune of Fleury via video screenings. The meeting was attended by the Mayor of the Municipality of Karpoš, Stevco Jakimovski, along with the Cooperation Attaché from the Embassy of France in Macedonia, Pascal Gallet.
On this occasion, the Municipal Head Mr. Stevco Jakimovski addressed his delight from the international municipal cooperation. - The Municipality of Karpoš is ready to honor the twinning agreement with Fleury-sur-Orne. When it comes to exchanging experiences, we would love for some of our schools to establish a cooperation with some of your schools. Thousands of kilometers lay between us, but no matter how far the destination, the journey must always start with a single step. Today we made the first steps towards our cooperation, and for that reason we always stand at your service - stated Jakimovski.
