ALDA staff back to school to discuss European citizenship

Within the project 'Zero km', in collaboration with the European Federalist Movement, ALDA organised an informative session on the topic of European citizenship with 13-year-old students of the Scuola Media "Ambrosoli" in Vicenza, Italy.

The event was possible thanks to the interest and support of the Professors Marina Petroni and Francesca Pelizzaro. In the spotlight the principles of European identity, the rights and duties of the European citizens.

The non-formal and participatory methods used contributed to actively involve the youngsters, who were informed and interested to Europe and its challenges, and actively discussed the rights connected with European citizenship, and the limits they see in it. The debate was lively and two-way, and ALDA representatives Marco Boaria and Anna Ditta were definitely happy to have gone back to school.
