Date and Venue

The intensive course will be developed over a week-end (Saturday and Sunday) to fulfil the needs of workers and students. The course comprises 14 hours training and will take place in ALDA's training hall in Vicenza, Viale Milano 66.

EU PROJECT DEVELOPMENT COURSE WEEKEND


Objectives

The course on EU Project Development organised by ALDA will provide you with the necessary information and tools to take your first steps in the field of European Union project development, in relation with the new programming period 2014-2020.
Thanks to the proposed course, participants will:

  • Get to know the communitarian programmes;
  • Learn how to find the necessary information;
  • Learn how to develop a project proposal.


Programme

The course will focus on the following themes:

  • How to get informed

Research of information related to the European Commission and information tools

  •  2014-2020 Programmes

Programmes and EU initiatives for the period 2014-2020, with a particular focus on the most relevant programmes in the field of education, culture, employment, social sector, environment, sport, governance, cooperation and research.

  • Creation of a project proposal

Explanation of the fundamental and preparatory steps to define the project's structure:

  • Analysis of the programme and objectives;
  • Planning of the project's activities;
  • Research and identification of the most adequate project's partnership and the creation of the Consortium;
  • Identification of the admissible project's costs;
Financing Process
Functioning mechanism of the EU programme, ways of co-financing project proposals, financial management of a project and accountancy procedures.


Target groups

The EU Project Development Course addresses whoever wants to learn and/or improve his/her competences regarding EU funding programmes. Therefore, the course is suitable for students, social and cultural operators, associations, local entities, etc. – participants will fill up a preliminary questionnaire to help us identify their formative needs.


Methodology

Every meeting will combine theoretical lessons with practical exercises. In order to allow an efficient and participatory formative activity, the maximum number of participants will be 20.


Trainers

All trainers will be experts, with a certified and significant multiannual experience in the field of European project development.
Between the trainers, Marco Boaria, Head of Unit Resources and Development of ALDA; Anna Ditta, Project Development Officer at ALDA; ad hoc experts will intervene during the various meetings:

  • Diego Vecchiato, Head of the International Relations Department of Veneto Region
  • Dario Pellizzon, Head of the Research Area of Cà Foscari University of Venice
  • Giorgio Anselmi, Director of l'Unità Europea, montly newspaper of the European Federalist Movement.
  • Antonella Valmorbida, Secretary General of ALDA
  • Barbara Elia, Financial Officer of ALDA
  • Irene Zanetti, Communication Officer of ALDA


Date and Venue

The intensive course will be developed over a week-end (Saturday and Sunday) to fulfil the needs of workers and students. The course comprises 14 hours training and will take place in ALDA's training hall in Vicenza, Viale Milano 66.


Costs

The cost of the training is 450 euros. The enrolment costs cover the training expenses, informative material and coffee break. The cost for ALDA's members is 380 euros (around 15% discount).
The cost for students under 26 years is 360 euros (20% discount).


Certificate of Attendance

At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance issued by ALDA, which is strategic partner of the European Commission and of the Council of Europe.
