LIME project – Labour integration for Migrants Employment has kicked-off in Rome

“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the future” – This one-line sentence by C. S. Lewis expresses the essence of a new project ALDA will work on during the next 2 years, in collaboration with a motivated and highly experienced set of partners from Italy and Spain.

LIME project - Labour integration for Migrants Employment, kicked-off on September 21st and 22d, with a meeting organised by the project-leader Cies onlus in the beautiful framework of the old city of Rome, in their Documentation Center and Intercultural Library.
LIME project - Labour integration for Migrants Employment, aims at promoting the swift integration of young Third Country Nationals - TCNs - (aged 18-29) in the labour market, by fostering the application of the “Cluster” methodology at local level all over Europe.
LIME is a project funded by the European Union -DG Home Affairs-Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), gathering together 7 partners from Italy, France and Spain: Confcooperative – Unione Metropolitana di Roma (CONFCOOP-ROMA), Federacion de Plataformas Sociales Pinardi (PINARDI) Asociacin Guarani de Cooperacion Paraguay Espana (GUARANÍ NGO), Libera Universita Maria SS. Assunta di Roma (LUMSA), Federazione Centro Nazionale Opere Salesiane Formazione Aggiornamento Professionale (CNOS-FAP).
The project consortium will thus try to shape this “Cluster” methodology, being an innovative, integrated and highly participatory approach, based on the definition of a multi-stakeholder public-private partnership engaged in a common long-term strategy enabling context-sensitive solutions. The core of the project will be two pilot actions, to be implemented in two relevant local contexts in Italy and Spain, under which the methodology will be developed and tested.
