DESCRIPTION:The Inaugural ceremony of Trento as European and Italian Capital of Volunteering will take place on February 3rd, 2024 in Trento (Italy).\n\nOne thousand volunteers, 400 school children, the authorities of Trentino and many international guests will attend the opening ceremony of an extraordinary year, among the guest there will also be the Italian President Sergio Mattarella.\n\nRepresenting ALDA, Antonella Valmorbida, Secretary General of the Association, will also participate in the event.\n\nThere will also be many national and international guests: Andrij Sadovyj, Andriy Moshkalenko and Serhiy Kiral, respectively mayor and deputy mayor of Lviv, the city that had competed together with Trento for the title of European Volunteer Capital 2024.\n\nWithin this framework, after the ceremony, a bilateral meeting will take place between the Mayor of Trento and the Mayor of Lviv, at the presence of Mrs. Antonella Valmorbida, to discuss the possible opening of the Local Democracy Agency Lviv.\n\n📍Trento, Italy\n📆 3 February 2024\n
