DESCRIPTION:On 24 October 2025, ALDA organises an ALDA Talk on “The Reykjavik Principles for Democracy: Civil Society at the Core”. The webinar will explore how the Reykjavik Principles, launched by the Council of Europe, can guide democratic governance and strengthen civic participation.\nSpeakers include Viorica (BRIDGE Project Manager, Moldova representative), Anastasia (ALDA Ukraine Unit, LDAs coordinator), and Christoph Speckbacher (Head of Civil Society Unit, Council of Europe), moderated by Elena, ALDA Membership Officer. Discussions will cover the importance of the Principles, insights from the BRIDGE project, experiences of democratic resilience in Ukraine, and cooperation between civil society and institutions.\nThe event is open to ALDA members and partners, with a Q&A session included.
