DESCRIPTION:On 13 October 2025, the LDA Vinnytsia Partnership signing ceremony takes place in Brussels, marking a new milestone for European cooperation on local democracy. The State of Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany) formally joins the partnership supporting the Local Democracy Agency in Vinnytsia, while the Diputació de Barcelona (DIBA) officially signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Hosted at the Representation of Rhineland-Palatinate in Brussels, the event brings together regional and local leaders, civil-society organisations and partners committed to citizen participation and democratic resilience.\nThe LDA Vinnytsia Partnership strengthens the growing European-Ukrainian network that promotes cooperation between municipalities, enhances civic participation and supports sustainable regional development. By joining forces, Rhineland-Palatinate and DIBA contribute new expertise and political support to common initiatives that promote transparent governance, participatory planning and community-led recovery.\nSpeakers will outline future priorities and joint activities for 2025–2026, focusing on capacity-building for local administrations, youth engagement, and inclusive policy design.
