SUMMARY:BOOST Capacity Building and Networking for Subgrantees – Podgorica 2025
DESCRIPTION:From 24 to 26 November 2025, the BOOST Capacity Building event will take place in Podgorica, Montenegro, gathering subgrantees and partners of the BOOST project for a three-day programme of training and networking. The BOOST Capacity Building session aims to strengthen the operational, communication, and advocacy capacities of grassroots organisations working across the Western Balkans.\nOrganised by ALDA and led by Ivana Velkova, in collaboration with Katica Janeva, the training will combine interactive workshops, group discussions, and peer exchanges to enhance project management and visibility skills. Participants will learn effective storytelling techniques, digital communication strategies, and tools to improve the sustainability and impact of their local initiatives.\nThis event is part of a series of regional capacity-building sessions under the BOOST project, co-funded by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and coordinated by ALDA. The project aims to support civil-society organisations (CSOs) in developing participatory approaches to local governance, fostering social inclusion, and strengthening collaboration with public authorities.\nParticipants from Montenegro and neighbouring countries will share experiences, discuss common challenges, and identify opportunities for future cooperation within the Western Balkans network.
