SUMMARY:Civil Society Week 2026
DESCRIPTION:Registrations are open for Civil Society Week 2026. From 2–5 March 2026, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) will bring together civil society actors from across Europe to discuss, debate and contribute to shaping the future of democracy in Europe.\nALDA is pleased to take part in this key European gathering. We will contribute through a co-organised interactive workshop ( https://www.eesc.europa.eu/en/agenda/our-events/events/civil-society-week-2026/educating-citizenship-resilient-societies ) on 2 March entitled “Educating Citizenship for Resilient Societies”, exploring how civic education and active participation can strengthen democratic resilience at both local and European levels.\nThroughout the week, the ALDA team will also be present with an information stand, offering an opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss ongoing initiatives, and explore new possibilities for cooperation with civil society organisations, institutions and practitioners.\nProgramme details and registration are available on the EESC Civil Society Week 2026 page ( https://www.eesc.europa.eu/en/agenda/our-events/events/civil-society-week-2026 ).\n📍 Brussels, Belgium\n📅 2–5 March 2026\n
