Open call for the job position of Project Assistant

 

The Municipality of Niksic launched the Youth Employment Promotion Program on 6th of May, 2019 and 52 local employers expressed their interest in giving a chance for further career advancement to the university graduates that are registered at the Employment Agency of Niksic by opening 108 positions for 12 months.

اشتغلت General Conditions of the Youth Employment Promotion Program are:

  • Montenegrin citizenship and residence in Niksic
  • Registered at Employment Agency of Niksic
  • Up to 30 years old
  • University degree – (Master’s degree)

Special requirements that the candidate must meet:

  • University degree in following fields: political science; social policy and social work; law; entrepreneurial economy, foreign languages, arts …
  • Information and IT literacy and skills
  • Knowledge of the English language (knowledge of other languages is an advantage: Italian, French, German, Albanian..)
  • Strong desire to contribute to society and local community
  • Teamworking skills
  • Communication skills
  • Initiative
  • Responsibility
  • Tolerance and non-discrimination, cooperation, solidarity
  • Openness for the acquisition of new knowledge and skills

Local activity in Tirana: innovative & sustainable financial instruments

On October 5th, 2019 in Tirana, ال Association of Albanian Municipalities organized a local event in order to present the innovative and sustainable financial instruments to the representatives of local government.

After its territorial and administrative reform, Albania now has 61 municipalities. In order for them to be more effective and competitive, they need to propose innovative and sustainable solution for local development.

During this workshop, the Association of Albanian Municipalities addressed the importance of this issue on the local level and proposed different possibilities to foster local development and create a sustainable city. This was an occasion to present the new online platform Web-Gis that gives the municipalities real-time data.

This activity is implemented within the RECOV project, financially supported by the Europe for Citizens program.

Cultural meeting on mysticism in Kairouan

The association Sawa-med Tunisia in partnership with the LDA Tunisia organized in the evening of May 20 a cultural meeting on the theme “Kairouan and mysticism”. This meeting began with the presentation by Mr Hamadi Messeoudi, President of the University of Kairouan, of the proceedings of the symposium on women’s leadership held in Kairouan on the 25th and 26th of January 2019.

Then, several interventions of academics were held on the theme “Kairouan and mysticism”. Mr Mohamed Ali Hbayeb (University of Manouba) began by presenting a paper entitled “Geography of Holiness in Kairouan through textual sources and data from the field”. Then, Mr Fethi Aydi (University of Sfax) spoke about “the sanctity of Kairouan: obstacle or factor of development”. This study focuses on the impact of holiness on the mobility of the city of Kairouan whether social or otherwise. Mr Riadh Mrabet(University of Tunis) presented on the “Mourabitine society” to promote a better understanding of the birth mechanism of religious fanaticism in Tunisia. Mrs Olfa Boudaya (University of Sfax) presented “the Issaouas of Kairouan in the 19th and 20th centuries: brotherhood rituals to tame the pain”. Finally, Mr Adel Njim (University of Sfax) has developed a presentation on “an ancient religious monument in the Islamic city of Kairouan”, which aims to unveil a very particular type of citizenship, that of the working classes, and show its particular relationship to the official worship.

The interventions were followed by a short debate between the panellists and the audience.
