
ENLARGE (Energies for Local Administrations to Renovate Governance in Europe) partners, Istituto per la Ricerca Sociale (IT), ALDA – European Association for Local Democracy (FR), Stockholm Environment Institute Tallinn Centre – SEI Tallinn (EE) and Università di Torino (IT) are delighted to present you the new initiative on which they are working together.
ENLARGE aims at providing an answer to the following questions:
- Which different types of sustainable energy initiatives prompt citizen involvement?
- Which stakeholder(s) do(es) foster citizen involvement? What types of actors are actually
involved? - Which participatory strategies result into better policy results? Which ones raises resistance
and conflicts?
Enlarge: designed to generate and disseminate shared, structured, and constructive knowledge on participatory governance in the field of sustainable energy
In order to answers these question, the project will investigate the existing models of participatory governance in the field of sustainable energy, by drawing together theoretical knowledge and on-the-ground experiences. Similarly, it will deliberate on the main critical points for boosting participatory governance to achieve better outcomes in the field of sustainable energy.
