برايت - بناء حوكمة مبتكرة قائمة على الحقوق للمرأة المتنقلة في الاتحاد الأوروبي aims at improving the awareness and exercise of the EU citizenship rights of mobile نساء employed in the agricultural sector in Southern Italy. It does so mostly through the adoption of the “Public-Public Partnership Agreements”, a methodology designed to foster the collaboration of local institutions, EU citizens, employers, trade unions and CSOs.
BRIGHT also intends to enhance the capacity of local institutions and encourage European countries to adopt participatory governance systems that enable the participation of EU mobile citizens in decision-making processes. Local institutions facing the challenge of inclusion and social cohesion of women migrant workers might need new and innovative strategies as well as the instruments to guarantee access to fair, adequate and gender sensitive public services. BRIGHT’s way to reach underrepresented groups hence consists in a collective effort of authorities, social services, trade unions, citizens and employers in the co-design of innovative and inclusive welfare solutions.

The BRIGHT consortium would like to invite you to fill out a short online questionnaire and have a 45-minute interview to discuss the emerging challenges and opportunities facing the inclusion of women mobile workers in your community.
This will in fact allow the project partners to understand the current challenges experienced by local actors and consequently co-design possible solutions. Based on your inputs, an assessment on EU mobile workers’ participation will then be drafted and serve as a baseline to identify and tackle issues and opportunities faced by local actors when it comes to the integration of EU mobile women in the social fabric.
And your contribution can go further than this! Your full engagement in BRIGHT’s community is very welcome: by joining the community, you will have the chance to work with various local contexts across Europe and reflect on current challenges, share good practices and learn from all members’ mutual experiences.
BRIGHT is a 2-year EU-funded project that promotes innovative governance partnerships for social inclusion and exercise of the EU rights for underrepresented mobile citizens. It especially supports the access to gender responsive public services (e.g. social housing, public transport to the workplace, community solutions for childcare) for Romanian and Bulgarian women employed in low standard labour sectors in Southern Italy.
