Catch an important opportunity for development with the great workshop of WTD project, organised by ALDA, the Association of Local Democracy Agencies, in cooperation with the Enlargement, Pre-Accession and Neighbourhood (EPAN) Working group of CONCORD (the European Confederation of Relief and Development NGOs).

An important workshop that will take place in بروكسل on the 9th of April 2014, which will focus on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the post-2015 agenda of development policies from the perspective of local authorities and civil society organisations.

The event will provide the opportunity to share information and strengthen cooperation between LAs and CSOs or their associations and other relevant stakeholders of the post-MDG framework, while discussing the possible broadening of the post-MDG framework’s objectives and its implication with regards to the involvement of local actors and civil society.

Key stakeholders involved include:

– Local authorities and civil society organisations from the EU

– (Pre-)Accession and Neighbourhood countries International associations/platforms of LAs and CSOs (ALDA, CONCORD, Civicus, Platforma tbc)

– Representatives of EU institutions and UNDP Art (tbc)

 

The event is organised in the framework of the project WTD (Working Together for Development).

The event will take place on 9th April 2014, 09 :00 – 16 :00, at the Atrium building, Rue de la Science 14b – Brussels.

Participants may register by 4th April through this form.
