Bartek Ostrowski is ALDA’s consultant for the development of LDAs in Ukraine.
In the past, Mr Ostrowski was Plenipotentiary for International Cooperation of the Wroclaw Technology Park in Poland, Deputy Director of the Polish Institute in Moscow and Counsellor of the Polish Embassy in Russia, Director of the Foreign Relations Department of the Regional Authority of the Lower Silesia in Poland and Director of the Representation of the Lower Silesia Region to the European Union in Brussels. Also, he has experience as a coordinator of grant making initiative at the Batory Foundation in Warsaw.
Moreover, he is an initiator of the LDA in Dnipro, Ukraine establishment, which was opened in 2015. For this initiative he was awarded the Honorary Award of the Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Region Council. Mr Ostrowski was, also, the initiator of joining the ALDA of the Lower Silesia region and the city of Wroclaw – the capital of the region.
Mr Ostrowski is responsible for the support the activities of the network in the Eastern Partnership countries, especially developing the LDA network in Ukraine, as well as, support of the implementation by the ALDA network of development aid projects in the Eastern Partnership countries, WB6 and in Russia and support the development of the advisory functions of ALDA+.
