Khrystyna is a Project Developer and ALDA Representative in Ukraine.

Her expertise lies in sustainable development policies, democracy, and digital innovations. At ALDA, she develops projects for the EU and other international donor organisations predominantly targeting the EaP region.

Khrystyna started her professional career in the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine on the EU-funded project on Media ownership transparency. Then, she worked in several think tanks on anti-corruption and civil society empowerment.

She consults the Ukrainian NGO Institute for Innovative Governance on e-governance and digital inclusion topics. Her academic interests lie in the critical approach to digital technologies, their potential for improving and threatening democracy and sustainable development.

She holds two Master’s degrees with distinction: one in Political Science with a focus on European Affairs from the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, and the second one in Sustainable Development jointly offered by the Sorbonne University in Paris, KU Leuven, University of Padua, and the University of Johannesburg in South Africa.

She speaks Ukrainian, English, French, Italian and Russian.
