ALDA Skopje Office Vacancies – Project Manager, Grant Manager & Comm Officer

ALDA opened three different positions in the Skopje Office (North Macedonia). We are looking for a Project Manager, a Grant Manager and a Comm Officer.

Project Manager

ALDA is looking for a Project Manager based in our office in Skopje. He/she will work under the supervision of ALDA’s Secretary General, the Head of the Implementation Unit and the Head of the Western Balkans Unithe/she will liaise with all the colleagues of the team.

Among the tasks:

  • To plan and/or implement the action plan of the projects, organizing events and other initiatives described in the programme;
  • To follow and accompany the partnership and the group involved in the projects;
  • To communicate about the projects, developing a communication plan, social media account management;
  • And more!

Among the requirements needed:

  • University Degree;
  • Languages – English and French professional working proficiency. At least one of theWestern Balkans languages;
  • Previous experience in project implementation of at least 2 years;
  • And more!

The contract will be for a period of 12 months and can be renewed subject to availability of resources and satisfactory performance evaluation at the completion of the first contracted period. The contract will preferably start by April 2024.

Grant Manager

ALDA is looking for a Grant manager based in our office in Skopje. He/she will work under the supervision of ALDA’s Secretary General, the Head of the Implementation Unit and the Head of the Western Balkans Unithe/she will liaise with all the colleagues of the team.

Among the tasks:

  • To prepare and coordinate all steps of grant-making programme;
  • Develop and implement systems for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of grant-funded programs;
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure alignment between program goalsand grant objectives;
  • And more!

Among the requirements needed:

  • University degree;
  • Excellent knowledge of English, and at least one of the Western Balkans languages isrequired; French language is an asset;
  • Previous experience in grant management of at least 2 years;
  • And more!

Communication Officer

ALDA is looking for a Communication Officer. He/she will work under the supervision of ALDA’s Secretary General, Head of the Western Balkans Unit and the Head of the Communication department.

Among the tasks:

  • Writing, editing, and translating texts for several outputs (website, publications, newsletter, etc.) described in the programme;
  • Managing web and social media content for the programme;
  • Liaise with different Project Managers, in order to keep updated the different platforms ofthe projects;
  • And more!

Among the requirements:

  • University degree in communications, journalism or similar;
  • Previous experience in communication or project implementation of at least 2 years;
  • Excellent knowledge of English, and at least one of the Western Balkans languages isrequired; French language is an asset;
  • And more!
