ALDA is looking for a Project Manager focused on Youth and inclusive digitalisation for one of its offices (Brussels, Strasbourg, Vicenza, Chisinau, Tunis, Skopje).

Among the main tasks:

  • To plan and/or implement the action plan of the projects, organizing events and other initiatives described in the programme;
  • To follow and accompany the partnership and the group involved in the projects;
  • To communicate about the projects, developing a communication plan, social media account management;
  • To liaise and share knowledge about the project with the team of ALDA;
  • Liaise with the donor (mainly the European Commission), in cooperation with the Secretary General of ALDA;
  • To identify possible sources of co-funding and facilitation as for the project implementation, together with the Secretary General and with the Resources and Development office of ALDA;

Skills required:

  • University degree;
  • Languages: English professional working proficiency – Italian and French are an asset;
  • Previous experience in project implementation of at least 3 years mainly linked to youth and/or inclusive digitalisation and proven experience in budget management.

Vacancy: Project Manager and Coordinator

ALDA is looking for a Project Manger and Coordinator for its Chisinau office.

Among the main tasks:

  • To plan and/or implement the action plan of the projects, organising events and other initiatives described in the programme;
  • To interact with consortium members, partnerships and other platforms related to supervised projects;
  • Coordinate projects’ communication and dissemination activities together with regional comms officer and communication unit (located in Italy);
  • Manage the relationships with donors (mainly the European Commission) in cooperation with the Head of Unit;
  • Identify possible sources of projects co-funding together with Resources and Development office of ALDA;
  • To be responsible of the use of the budget of the programme and carefully and responsively manage the resources allocated;

Skills required:

  • University degree, preferably masters degree;
  • Languages: Excellent knowledge of Romanian and English (both written and spoken). Russian knowledge is highly appreciated. Any other languages represent an asset;
  • Previous experience in project implementation and resources management of at least 2 years. Previous experience of sub-granting programs coordination;

ALDA+ è alla ricerca di un Administrative Officer che, riportando direttamente al Rappresentante Legale di ALDA+, dovrà occuparsi di tutta la gestione amministrativa della Società, con il supporto di uno studio di commercialisti e consulenti del lavoro. 

Le principali attività sono le seguenti:

  1. Contabilità e gestione amministrativa (emissione fatture, gestione ciclo passivo, supporto al commercialista, gestione banche, supporto gestione personale, ecc). 
  2. Rendicontazione di progetti finanziati nell’ambito di programmi europei, nazionali e regionali; 
  3. Supporto ufficio gare e attività core della società: corsistica, eventi, assistenze tecniche, ricerca e analisi bandi (es. via MEPA), ecc. 

Tra i requisiti:

  • Diploma in ragioneria, preferenziale laurea in materie economiche;

Vacancy: Consultant for West Africa

In line with its new Strategy 2021-2024, ALDA is looking for a Consultant for West Africa.

Among the main tasks:

  • Expanding, strengthening and dynamising ALDA’s network in West Africa

  • Ensure the long-term sustainability of ALDA through fundraising and the development of new projects

  • Strengthen and develop new institutional partnerships 

Skills required:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French, other languages are an asset (i.e.  Wolof or other relevant local languages) 

  • Minimum Master degree in management, economics, public administration, law, development studies or related areas

  • Deep knowledge of the African civil society and decentralization context, with a focus on West Africa

 

Where and when: Based in Dakar, Senegal. Target countries: Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Gambia, Togo, Benin, Mauritania, Guinea (Conakry).

Vacancy: Project Developer, Skopje (North Macedonia)

The team of ALDA Skopje is looking for another colleague, that will support the Programs and Development Department of ALDA, in achieving ALDA’s objectives and priorities.

Among the main tasks:

  • Project development: project drafting, preparation of the application package (concepts, applications forms, budgets, log frame), partnership building activities,
  • Fundraising: research for grant opportunities, periodical checks of call for proposals and tenders for the Western Balkan region and Europe as well,
  • Administrative and office tasks: activities related to the preparation and the submission of projects. 

Skills required:

  • University degree; 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Macedonian. Any
    other language will be considered as an asset. 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in writing project proposals;

  • Highly motivated, result-driven person, flexibility, eagerness to learn quickly; 
  • Respect for hierarchy, positive and collaborative attitude 
  • Ability to work under pressure, respecting tight deadlines. When necessary open to
    work extra-hours or on weekends (with follow up recuperation of working extra- time); 

Education:

  • University Degree, preferably master degree; 
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in project implementation and resources management of complex programs with high budget (over 100 k Euro). Previous experience of sub-granting programs coordination;

ALDA is looking for a Communication Officer for its office in Chisinau (Moldova)

Among main tasks:

  • S/he will be in charge of public relations, information output, press releases and media requests, social media and/or advertising efforts;
  • S/he will support all the communication activities related to projects implemented in the region and will ensure that all donors’ visibility requirements are met
  • Manage and improve the communications flows, within and outside the Chisinau Office of ALDA;
  • Responsible for promoting a positive public image of ALDA;
  • Create effective communication strategies, when necessary;
  • Coordinate external and internal communications flow

Education:

  • Communication skills, especially in multicultural, complex environments;

The Admin and Logistic Officer will directly report to the Head of Unit. S/he will be in charge of the overall management of assigned agendas including posting, administration and verification of compliance with ALDA policies. S/he also will be responsible for overall daily projects work and administrative tasks for ALDA’s office in Chisinau and will be directly responsible for logistical components.

Among the related tasks:

  • Assisting the Unit in overseeing the activities related to projects implementation;
  • Making the necessary logistic arrangements for a good implementation of the activities (training, mapping, monitoring, regional workshops, meetings etc.);
  • Monitoring, whether all financial documents, invoices and cash settlements on assigned cash box are in line with ALDA procedures and policies as well as local legislation/rules;

Skills needed:

  • Highly motivated, result-driven person with pro-active approach oriented on preventing potential challenges rather then reacting after it happened
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn quickly
  • Respect for hierarchy, positive and collaborative attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure, respecting tight deadlines
