This new episode of the ALDATalks series will focus on “Fake News and Digital Literacy” and it will take place on Wednesday, January the 20th at 3 pm CET.
Among the guests joining us to explore this topic and help us better understanding how to navigate in the digital world, will be:
Paolo Celot, expert on media literacy, founder and General Secretary of our member organisation, EAVI (EU association for Viewers Interest) based in Brussels, will give you an insight on the topic of fake news.
Eline Yara Jeanné, project coordinator at MDI, the Media Diversity Institute, will present the Get The Trolls Out project explaining how to use innovative media formats to engage young people in the fight against hate speech and fake news.
Diotima Bertel, Researcher & Project Coordinator at SYNYO GmbH will talk about the EUNOMIA project and how to respond to ‘infodemic’: EUNOMIA tools to support social media users in practising Information Hygiene.
