FINAL SYMPOSIUM: images and perception of the EU by migrants
The PERCEPTIONS project is an Horizon Europe 2020 project which aims to identify narratives, images and perceptions of the EU held by migrants and persons who intend to migrate and to identify how they could influence migration decisions. The research also seeks to identify threats to migrants or host countries connected to certain narratives. To achieve these objectives, the project carries out theoretical and empirical research and analyses social media and mass media data to create an evidence-based framework containing tools, measures, approaches and policy recommendations.
After three and a half years of fieldwork research and development, our consortium is happy to announce that the University of Bologna will host a two-day conference to mark the ending of the PERCEPTIONS project, and show the results achieved.
