Euro-Arab Youth Forum: Youth participation as a driver for peace
Every two years the Conseil de l'Europe et de League of Arab States organize the Euro-Arab Youth Forum gathering 50 Arab participants and 50 participants from the Council of Europe member States. The hosting place alternates between Arab and European countries, and this time the forum took place in Budapest at the European Youth Centre of the Council of Europe between 5th and 8th November. The theme of the 7th edition was UN Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 2250 on Youth, Peace, and Security, with a specific focus on youth participation as a driver for peace which also constitutes a legal framework that can be used for advocacy.
Responsible for Med Area Giulia Sostero represented ALDA at the workshop on Human Rights Education. It was proposed by a trainer of the Council of Europe, based on the Compass that serves as reference manual for people involved in value-based youth work and non-formal education. The workshop was particularly useful to ALDA since youth is one of the focuses ALDA would like to include in its Mediterranean projects, as well as one of the main targets of Human Rights Education.
During the Forum ALDA, with a team of 7 participants from Armenia, Turkey, France, Italy, Qatar, Georgia, and Azerbaijan, developed a project idea concerning youth participation in decision-making processes at the local level. The project would aim to raise awareness among youth about UNSCR 2250; empower youth on the importance of political engagement and how to advocate for their rights; convince policymakers to involve youth in decision-making processes; coach youth and decision-makers on how to work together; and change the public opinion on the role of youth in society.

A set of conferences to open dialogue on local good self-government and participation in Russia
ALDA’s activities in Russia have become increasingly frequent and relevant, managing to involve and stimulate the interest of a growing number of local stakeholders, thus opening a fertile dialogue on future projects to improve local governance with relevant actors from the local governance scene.
Therefore, in partnership with Open Russia and Open St. Petersburg, ALDA organized an International conference on “Solutions for local self-government and participatory democracy”, to encourage the exchange of best practices. The conference, which took place in Moscow on October 30th, and in St. Petersburg on the following day, were moderated by ALDA Secretary-General Antonella Valmorbida and by Eastern Partnership Coordinator Alexandru Coica.
The event saw the participation of 15 representatives of local municipalities from Europe and over 100 independent Russian councillors, who exchanged views and experiences on a wide selection of topics such as participative democracy and citizens’ engagement, urban planning and mobility, climate change and digitalization services.
It is extremely pleasant and rewarding to succeed in opening new windows between far and different realities, which is why we want to thank once again our member and friend the Association Open Russia for its enthusiasm and constant support and cooperation in organizing such fruitful actions!

Achievements and recommendations on the Eastern Partnership’s 10th anniversary
From November 4th to 6th, Stockholm was the stage for the 10th anniversary celebrations of the Eastern Partnership (EaP), the joint policy initiative that aims to deepen and strengthen relations between the European Union (EU), its Member States, and its Eastern neighbours of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine as a vehicle for social, economic and institutional development.
Over the past decade, collective efforts within the EaP framework have brought considerable benefits to the citizens, including more trade, mobility, increased economic development and better quality of life.
Sweden’s largest platform for civil society, Forum Syd, organized the event and related conference, gathering around 90 representatives from civil society, journalists, think-tanks, institutions and the business sector to discuss the future of the EaP beyond 2020.
EaP Coordinator Alexandru Coica represented ALDA at the anniversary, adding his voice to the collective reflections on good governance, media, human rights and gender; and advocating for stronger partnerships with local authorities, increased capacity building, and an implementation of dialogue among EaP countries as well as a revision of co-funding dynamics.
Final recommendations from civil society also included the necessity to support SME development and women’s entrepreneurship; the importance of the connection between decentralization and sustainable development to ensure compliance with various national and international environmental commitments; and the need to duplicate participatory budgeting models in more areas of the EaP region, towards increased transparency and institutional trust.

The Innodoct Conference 2019: Towards bigger inclusion of intellectually disabilities
From 6th to 8th November the project Mind-Inclusion 2.0 attended the Innodoct Conference 2019 – International Conference on Innovation, Documentation, and Education, which took place at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

Digital communication for active citizenship 2.0
Digital communication is proving to be increasingly relevant in citizen mobilization and in the dialogue between citizens, associations and public actors. Following this observation as well as specific requests by some of its stakeholders, LDA Tunisie with its Delegate Afaf Zaddem organised a 2-day practical training on digital communication which took place in its offices in the Kairouan Governorate, Tunisia, on November 2nd and 3rd, 2019.
Led by communication expert Mr Mohamed Attafi, the training was open to all civil society actors of the Governorate. The sessions allowed participants to thoroughly grasp how digital communication has become essential today in a process of professionalization, efficiency and effectiveness in citizen mobilization and local governance.
The group workshops also fostered collaborative work among participants, leading to the creation of two group projects – one about violence against women and how to better communicate digitally; the other about green citizenship, with a focus on promoting an event around the planting and recycling of plastic packaging into flower pots.

Access to services for migrants with disabilities: the AMID Project Final Conference
On November 5th, Project Manager Dolinda Cavallo represented ALDA in Brussels, at the European Economic and Social Committee, in the Final Conference of the AMID Project – Access to Services for Migrants with Disabilities – and especially at the workshop “the use of Needs Assessment Tool for the identification of migrants’ support needs".
The event was moderated by Luk Zelderloo, EASPD Secretary General, with the intervention of the following panelists:
• Yaya Traore – ARCI cultural mediator (via Skype)
• Angela Unufe Kennedy – CEO Migrant & Minority Disability Network Europe
• Ola Henrikson – Director of IOM’s Regional Office Brussels
• Nuria Diez Guardia – Policy Officer at the European Commission DG Migration and HOME Affairs
• Oriol Amoros i March – Secretary of Equality, Migration and Citizenship – Government of Catalonia.
The Conference opened with an overview of the AMID Project, the main results of its research and the data collected. Domenico Manente, Project Leader of EASPD, explained the workings of the NAT – Needs Assessment Tool, which resulted directly from the Project in order to assess the needs of migrants with disabilities.
The NAT was developed on a human rights approach following the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD). It aims to set the needs of the individual as a priority in the assessment process of disability, in a user-friendly and accessible way; with this tool, the AMID project wants to give the opportunity to each individual to have their voice heard.
The event was extremely beneficial for ALDA to direct due attention to migration issues and services for disability, areas which ALDA is also focusing on with several other projects such as CITRON VERT, De MEtoEU, MIICT and more.

EuroPCom 2019: in need of global strategies, with a local impact
“We must act Glo-Local: global strategies but with a local impact”. Paloma Escudero, Director of Communications at UNICEF, marked these words at the opening session of the 10th edition of EuroPCom, the European Public Communication Conference, taking place in Brussels on November 7th and 8th, 2019.
The Conference covered a variety of topics through numerous sessions which served as incubators for brainstorming and fruitful exchanges; Project Manager Dolinda Cavallo represented ALDA at the event.
The opening session, welcomed by Karl-Heinz Lambertz, President of the Comité européen des régions, and Othmar Karas, Vice-President of the Parlement européen responsible for Information Policy, Press and Citizens Relations, saw the interventions of Paloma Escudero, Director of Communications at UNICEF, Catherine E. De Vries, Political Scientist at the University of Amsterdam and Peter Müller, EU correspondent DER SPIEGEL, Belgium.
The guests discussed European Public Communication after this year’s European Elections, and how better communication can help shape the future of Europe. “It’s important to focus on what unites Europe and not on what divides Europe” said De Vries.
ALDA took part in different workshops. “Innovative citizen engagement to counter populism”, held by Laurent Altenburger and Peter Funk, Eurovision & Project Directors of Pulse of Europe, and Nadja Nickel, Project Manager Country Lead Germany of The Democratic Society, focused on how to establish a close link with European citizens as well as counter and respond to populist movements, on the basis that empowering citizens through a participatory approach is the first step to engage them and to counter populism.
Through the LEGO® Serious Play® method, ALDA then had a 3D experience on how to build a communication strategy for migrants’ integration in the workshop “Real-time strategy for communicating integration” with Bela Dajka, Senior Communication Consultant and Facilitator at Spacemaker; Andrew Gardner, Press officer at the European Committee of the Regions; and Ian Andersen, Participatory Leadership Adviser at the Commission européenne. All participants shared their own perspectives on how to improve in this area, concluding that promoting a participatory and individual approach is key.

EuroPCom 2019 : besoin de stratégies globales à impact local
"Nous devons agir Glo-Local : des stratégies globales mais avec un impact local”. Paloma Escudero, directrice de la communication de l’UNICEF, a tenu ces propos lors de la séance d’ouverture de la 10e édition d’EuroPCom, la conférence européenne sur la communication publique qui a eu lieu à Bruxelles les 7 et 8 novembre 2019.
La conférence a abordé une variété de sujets à travers de nombreuses sessions qui ont servi d’incubateurs pour des séances de réflexion et des échanges fructueux ; la responsable de projet, Dolinda Cavallo, a représenté ALDA à l’événement.
La séance d’ouverture, accueillie par Karl-Heinz Lambertz, président du Comité Européen des Régions, et Othmar Karas, vice-président du Parlement Européen chargé de la politique de l’information, de la presse et des relations citoyennes, a vu les interventions de Paloma Escudero, directrice de la Communications à l’UNICEF, Catherine E. De Vries, politologue à l’Université d’Amsterdam et Peter Müller, correspondant de l’UE, DER SPIEGEL, Belgique.
Les invités ont discuté de la communication publique européenne après les élections européennes de cette année et de la manière dont une meilleure communication peut contribuer à façonner l’avenir de l’Europe. « Il est important de se concentrer sur ce qui unit l’Europe et non sur ce qui la divise », a déclaré De Vries.
L’ALDA a participé à différents ateliers. “Engagement citoyen innovant pour lutter contre le populisme”, organisé par Laurent Altenburger et Peter Funk, directeurs des projets et de l’ Eurovision de Pulse of Europe, et Nadja Nickel, chargée de projet pour l’Allemagne de The Democratic Society, s’est concentré sur les moyens d’établir un lien étroit avec les citoyens européens ainsi que de contrer et de répondre aux mouvements populistes, en partant du principe que l’autonomisation des citoyens par une approche participative constitue la première étape pour les engager et lutter contre le populisme.
Grâce à la méthode LEGO® Serious Play®, ALDA a ensuite eu une expérience en 3D sur la façon de construire une stratégie de communication pour l’intégration des migrants lors de l’atelier “Stratégie en temps réel pour l’intégration de la communication” avec Bela Dajka, consultant principal en communication et facilitateur chez Spacemaker; Andrew Gardner, attaché de presse du Comité Européen des Régions; et Ian Andersen, conseiller en leadership participatif à la Commission Européenne. EuroPCom 2019: alla ricerca di strategie globali con un impatto locale
"Dobbiamo agire in modo glocale: strategie globali ma con un impatto locale”. Paloma Escudero, direttrice delle comunicazioni UNICEF, ha sottolineato questo messaggio alla sessione di apertura della decima edizione di EuroPCom, la Conferenza sulla Comunicazione Pubblica Europea (European Public Communication Conference), che si è tenuta a Bruxelles il 7 e l’8 novembre 2019.
La Conferenza ha coperto una varietà di argomenti attraverso un gran numero di sessioni, che hanno funto da incubatori per la creazione e lo scambio fruttuoso di idee; la coordinatrice di progetto Dolinda Cavallo ha rappresentato ALDA all’evento.
Karl-Heinz Lambertz, presidente del Comitato Europeo delle Regioni, e Othmar Karas, vice-presidente del Parlamento Europeo responsabile per l’Information Policy, Press and Citizens Relations, hanno dato il benvenuto alla sessione di apertura, cui sono intervenuti anche Paloma Escudero, direttrice delle comunicazioni UNICEF; Catherine E. De Vries, scienziata politica presso l’Università di Amsterdam; e Peter Müller, corrispondente UE di Der Spiegel Belgio.

Attraverso il metodo LEGO® Serious Play®, ALDA ha poi avuto un’esperienza 3D sull’attuazione di una strategia di comunicazione per l’integrazione dei migranti nel laboratorio “Strategie in tempo reale per comunicare l’integrazione” con Bela Dajka, esperta consulente e facilitatrice di comunicazione presso Spacemaker; Andrew Gardner, addetto stampa presso il Comitato Europeo delle Regioni; e Ian Andersen, consigliere alla leadership partecipativa presso la Commissione Europea. Tutti i partecipanti hanno condiviso i loro punti di vista su come migliorare in questo campo, concludendo che la promozione di un approccio partecipativo e individuale è fondamentale.

EuroPCom 2019: нуждаются в глобальных стратегиях с локальным воздействием
«Мы должны действовать Glo-Local: глобальные стратегии, но с локальным воздействием». Палома Эскудеро, директор по коммуникациям ЮНИСЕФ, отметила эти слова на открытии 10-й конференции EuroPCom, Европейской конференции по общественным связям, которая состоялась в Брюсселе 7 и 8 ноября 2019 года.
На многочисленных заседаниях конференции обсуждались различные темы, которые служили инкубаторами для мозгового штурма и плодотворных обменов; Руководитель проекта Долинда Кавалло представляла ALDA на мероприятии.
На открытии, которое приветствовали президент Европейского комитета регионов Карл-Хайнц Ламбертц и вице-президент Европейского парламента, отвечающий за информационную политику, отношения с прессой и гражданами, Отмар Карас, выступила Палома Эскудеро, директор по Коммуникациям в ЮНИСЕФ, Кэтрин Э. EuroPCom 2019: u potrazi za globalnim strategijama, sa lokalnim uticajem
„Moramo delovati glokalno: globalne strategije, ali sa lokalnim uticajem“. Paloma Escudero, direktor za komunikacije UNICEF-a, istakla je ove reči na uvodnom zasedanju 10. izdanja EuroPCom-a, Evropske konferencije za javne komunikacije, koja se održala u Briselu 7. i 8. novembra 2019. godine.
Konferencija je obuhvatala različite teme kroz brojne sesije koje su služile kao inkubatori za brejnstorming i plodnu razmenu; Voditelјka projekta Dolinda Cavallo predstavila je ALDA-u na ovom događaju.
Početak prve sesije, pozdravili su Karl-Heinz Lambertz , predsednik Evropskog komiteta regiona, i Othmar Karas, potpredsednik Evropskog parlamenta nadležan za informacionu politiku, štampu i odnose sa građanima, videli smo i intervencije Palome Escudero, direktorke komunikacija u UNICEF-u, Catherine E. De Vries, politikološkinje sa Univerziteta u Amsterdamu i Peter Müller, EU dopisnik za DER SPIEGEL, Belgija.

أوروبكام (EuroPCom) 2019: الحاجة إلى الاستراتيجيات العالمية مع تأثير محلي
يتعين علينا التحرك على الصعيد العالمي والمحلي في نفس الوقت: استراتيجيات عالمية تحت تأثير محلي”. جاءت هذه الكلمات على لسان بالوما أسكيدارو, مدير إدارة الاتصا لات بمنظمة اليونساف, في الجلسة الافتتاحية للدورة العاشرة لأوروبكام(EuroPCom), المؤتمر الاوروبي للاتصالات العمومية, الذي احتضنته العاصمة البلجيكية بروكسل خلال الفترة 7-8 نوفمبر (تشرين الثاني) 2019.
تطرق المتدخلون في هذا المؤتمر إلى سلسلة من المحاور, وذلك من خلال عدد من الجلسات التي استعملت كحاضنات للعصف الذهني والتفاعلات المفيدة, على غرار العرض الذي قدمته جولندا كافالو, مديرة المشروع, بصفتها ممثلة عن ألدا في هذا المؤتمر.
خلال الجلسة الأولى, التي تم الترحيب أثناءها بالحضور من قبل كرلهاينس, رئيس اللجنة الاوروبية للمناطق, وأوثمار كاراس, نائب رئيس البرلمان الاوروبي, المسؤول عن سياسة المعلومات والصحافة والعلاقات مع المواطن, استمع الحضور إلى مداخلات قدمها كل من بالوما أسكودارو, مديرة قسم الاتصالات بمنظمة اليونسكو, وكاتارين دي فريس, الخبيرة السياسية بجامعة أمستردام, وبيتر مولار, مراسل الاتحاد الأوروبي لمجلة دار شبيغل, في بلجيكا.
تطرق المدعوون إلى محور الاتصالات العمومية الأوروبية بعد الانتخابات البرلمانية التي نظمت هذا العام وكيف أن منظومة أفضل للاتصال يمكنها المساعدة على نحت أوروبا مستقبلا. “من الأهم بما كان أن نركز على ما يوحد أوروبا بدلا من التأكيد على ما يقسمها“, كما جاء على لسان السيدة دي فريس.
شاركت ألدا في العديد من ورش العمل. كما تظافرت جهود كل من لوقان ألتنبورغار وبيتر فانك, مدراء أوروفيزين ومشروع نبض أوروبا, وكذلك نادية نيكل, مديرة مشروع البلاد لقيادة ألمانيا من المجتمع الديمقراطي, لتركيز الجهود على امكانية إرساء علاقة وثيقة مع المواطنين الأوروبيين, وكذلك التوقي من الحركات الشعبوية والتصدي لها, وذلك على اساس تمكين المواطنين من خلال المقاربة التشاركية كخطوة أولى للتفاعل معهم وحثهم على التصدي للشعبوية.
توخت ألدا طريقة ليغو واللعبة الجادة (LEGO® Serious Play®), لاستغلال التجربة ذات الثلاثة أبعاد وبناء استرتيجية تواصل تهدف إلى دمج المهاجرين, أثناء ورشة العمل التي نظمت تحت عنوان “الاستراتيجية المعتمدة في الوقت الحقيق لتأمين الاندماج على أساس التواصل”, بمشاركة بيلا دايكا, مستشارة سامية في مجال التواصل وميسرة في مؤسسة سبايسمايكار (Spacemaker), وأندرو غاردنار, المسؤول على الصحافة بالمفوضية الأوروبية للمناطق, وإيان أندرسون, المستشار في شؤون القيادة التشاركية بالمفوضية الأوروبية. تمكن كافة المشاركين من التفاعل حول تجاربهم الخاصة والدخول في نقاش حول الآفاق الممكنة لتحسين هذا المجال,وذلك قبل أن يختتموا التظاهرة باعتماد المقاربة التشاركية والمنهجية الفردية كوسيلة أساسية لبلوغ هذه الغاية.

“We must act Glo-Local: global strategies but with a local impact”. Paloma Escudero, Director of Communications at UNICEF, marked these words at the opening session of the 10th edition of EuroPCom, the European Public Communication Conference, taking place in Brussels on November 7th and 8th, 2019.
The Conference covered a variety of topics through numerous sessions which served as incubators for brainstorming and fruitful exchanges; Project Manager Dolinda Cavallo represented ALDA at the event.
The opening session, welcomed by Karl-Heinz Lambertz, President of the Comité européen des régions, and Othmar Karas, Vice-President of the Parlement européen responsible for Information Policy, Press and Citizens Relations, saw the interventions of Paloma Escudero, Director of Communications at UNICEF, Catherine E. De Vries, Political Scientist at the University of Amsterdam and Peter Müller, EU correspondent DER SPIEGEL, Belgium.
The guests discussed European Public Communication after this year’s European Elections, and how better communication can help shape the future of Europe. “It’s important to focus on what unites Europe and not on what divides Europe” said De Vries.
ALDA took part in different workshops. “Innovative citizen engagement to counter populism”, held by Laurent Altenburger and Peter Funk, Eurovision & Project Directors of Pulse of Europe, and Nadja Nickel, Project Manager Country Lead Germany of The Democratic Society, focused on how to establish a close link with European citizens as well as counter and respond to populist movements, on the basis that empowering citizens through a participatory approach is the first step to engage them and to counter populism.
Through the LEGO® Serious Play® method, ALDA then had a 3D experience on how to build a communication strategy for migrants’ integration in the workshop “Real-time strategy for communicating integration” with Bela Dajka, Senior Communication Consultant and Facilitator at Spacemaker; Andrew Gardner, Press officer at the European Committee of the Regions; and Ian Andersen, Participatory Leadership Adviser at the Commission européenne. All participants shared their own perspectives on how to improve in this area, concluding that promoting a participatory and individual approach is key.

EuroPCom 2019 : besoin de stratégies globales à impact local
"Nous devons agir Glo-Local : des stratégies globales mais avec un impact local”. Paloma Escudero, directrice de la communication de l’UNICEF, a tenu ces propos lors de la séance d’ouverture de la 10e édition d’EuroPCom, la conférence européenne sur la communication publique qui a eu lieu à Bruxelles les 7 et 8 novembre 2019.
La conférence a abordé une variété de sujets à travers de nombreuses sessions qui ont servi d’incubateurs pour des séances de réflexion et des échanges fructueux ; la responsable de projet, Dolinda Cavallo, a représenté ALDA à l’événement.
La séance d’ouverture, accueillie par Karl-Heinz Lambertz, président du Comité Européen des Régions, et Othmar Karas, vice-président du Parlement Européen chargé de la politique de l’information, de la presse et des relations citoyennes, a vu les interventions de Paloma Escudero, directrice de la Communications à l’UNICEF, Catherine E. De Vries, politologue à l’Université d’Amsterdam et Peter Müller, correspondant de l’UE, DER SPIEGEL, Belgique.
Les invités ont discuté de la communication publique européenne après les élections européennes de cette année et de la manière dont une meilleure communication peut contribuer à façonner l’avenir de l’Europe. « Il est important de se concentrer sur ce qui unit l’Europe et non sur ce qui la divise », a déclaré De Vries.
L’ALDA a participé à différents ateliers. “Engagement citoyen innovant pour lutter contre le populisme”, organisé par Laurent Altenburger et Peter Funk, directeurs des projets et de l’ Eurovision de Pulse of Europe, et Nadja Nickel, chargée de projet pour l’Allemagne de The Democratic Society, s’est concentré sur les moyens d’établir un lien étroit avec les citoyens européens ainsi que de contrer et de répondre aux mouvements populistes, en partant du principe que l’autonomisation des citoyens par une approche participative constitue la première étape pour les engager et lutter contre le populisme.
Grâce à la méthode LEGO® Serious Play®, ALDA a ensuite eu une expérience en 3D sur la façon de construire une stratégie de communication pour l’intégration des migrants lors de l’atelier “Stratégie en temps réel pour l’intégration de la communication” avec Bela Dajka, consultant principal en communication et facilitateur chez Spacemaker; Andrew Gardner, attaché de presse du Comité Européen des Régions; et Ian Andersen, conseiller en leadership participatif à la Commission Européenne. "Dobbiamo agire in modo glocale: strategie globali ma con un impatto locale”. Paloma Escudero, direttrice delle comunicazioni UNICEF, ha sottolineato questo messaggio alla sessione di apertura della decima edizione di EuroPCom, la Conferenza sulla Comunicazione Pubblica Europea (European Public Communication Conference), che si è tenuta a Bruxelles il 7 e l’8 novembre 2019.
La Conferenza ha coperto una varietà di argomenti attraverso un gran numero di sessioni, che hanno funto da incubatori per la creazione e lo scambio fruttuoso di idee; la coordinatrice di progetto Dolinda Cavallo ha rappresentato ALDA all’evento.
Karl-Heinz Lambertz, presidente del Comitato Europeo delle Regioni, e Othmar Karas, vice-presidente del Parlamento Europeo responsabile per l’Information Policy, Press and Citizens Relations, hanno dato il benvenuto alla sessione di apertura, cui sono intervenuti anche Paloma Escudero, direttrice delle comunicazioni UNICEF; Catherine E. Attraverso il metodo LEGO® Serious Play®, ALDA ha poi avuto un’esperienza 3D sull’attuazione di una strategia di comunicazione per l’integrazione dei migranti nel laboratorio “Strategie in tempo reale per comunicare l’integrazione” con Bela Dajka, esperta consulente e facilitatrice di comunicazione presso Spacemaker; Andrew Gardner, addetto stampa presso il Comitato Europeo delle Regioni; e Ian Andersen, consigliere alla leadership partecipativa presso la Commissione Europea. Tutti i partecipanti hanno condiviso i loro punti di vista su come migliorare in questo campo, concludendo che la promozione di un approccio partecipativo e individuale è fondamentale.

EuroPCom 2019: нуждаются в глобальных стратегиях с локальным воздействием
«Мы должны действовать Glo-Local: глобальные стратегии, но с локальным воздействием». Палома Эскудеро, директор по коммуникациям ЮНИСЕФ, отметила эти слова на открытии 10-й конференции EuroPCom, Европейской конференции по общественным связям, которая состоялась в Брюсселе 7 и 8 ноября 2019 года.
На многочисленных заседаниях конференции обсуждались различные темы, которые служили инкубаторами для мозгового штурма и плодотворных обменов; Руководитель проекта Долинда Кавалло представляла ALDA на мероприятии.

EuroPCom 2019: u potrazi za globalnim strategijama, sa lokalnim uticajem
„Moramo delovati glokalno: globalne strategije, ali sa lokalnim uticajem“. Paloma Escudero, direktor za komunikacije UNICEF-a, istakla je ove reči na uvodnom zasedanju 10. izdanja EuroPCom-a, Evropske konferencije za javne komunikacije, koja se održala u Briselu 7. i 8. novembra 2019. godine.
Konferencija je obuhvatala različite teme kroz brojne sesije koje su služile kao inkubatori za brejnstorming i plodnu razmenu; Voditelјka projekta Dolinda Cavallo predstavila je ALDA-u na ovom događaju.
