One month since the war started and more than 4 million Ukrainian people have fled their home country, reaching the neighbouring states. In this context, ALDA, leader of the EPIC project, and its partners have organised a webinar called “From emergency situation to an inclusive and sustainable response: the narrative of a human-based system to welcome refugees from Ukraine”. In the webinar it will be discussed the human based system, where refugees are recognised as key actors in their own development, rather than passive recipients of help and services, and the importance of language and narratives to foster the design of sound policies.
In the webinar will participate:
- Yulia Krivich, Ukrainian female artist and photographer.
- Hania Hakiel, expert on trauma and safe spaces, from verbal to physical dimensions.
Moderators:
- Dolinda Cavallo, ALDA Project coordinator;
- Marta Siciarek, Coordinator of the regional migration policy, Metropolitan Area of Gdansk
- Patricia Martinez, Project Manager, AEIDL
