Jean-Claude Frécon, President of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities until October 2016, passed away on 10 December.

Secretary-General of ALDA Antonella Valmorbida conveyed the condolences of ALDA to his family and loved ones. “Not only was he an enthusiastic supporter of local democracy, he was also a good friend,” said Mrs Valmorbida.
