From 27 to 29 June a seminar was held in Simitli, Bulgaria, within the European project ‘Outsourcing practices’, which involved the Italian municipalities of Monfalcone, in Friuli Venezia Giulia, and the Bulgarian municipality of Simitli, located at around 120 km south of Sofia.

Alessandro Perelli, Vicepresident of ALDA, and Lucio Gregoretti, member of the Governing Board, attended the event. During the seminar, the administrative mechanisms of externalization used and the best practices in the administrative activities were analysed. Perelli and Gregoretti also visited a centre for people with disabilities built using European funds.

During a friendly meeting with the mayor of Simitli, ALDA’s Vicepresident Perelli highlighted “the work carried on by ALDA for the promotion of democratic values, equal opportunities, support of minorities, and its focus on active citizenship, transforming citizens into key actors participating to administrative decisions”.
