A master of second level on “Public Managment of the local development” has been founded, for the academic year 2011/2012, by the University of Catania (Italy).
The aim of the program is to build skills and new job profiles, highly flexible and able to lead, manage and implement decisions and strategies within public and private organizations engaged in different ways, even within the framework of the EU policies, in the process of sustainable development, with particular attention to local and regional level.
The Master, to be held at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Catania, will last 12 months and provides 1,500 hours of training, including 400 teaching hours, 50 hours of tests of learning, 450 hours of internship (including 300 hours of training, 150 hours of project work) and 600 hours of personal study.
