
ALDA is looking for young Italian people, or foreigner living in Italy, ready to start a Civil Service experience in the field of local democracy, peace and to promote the cooperation with the countries of the enlarged Europe.
This call, supported by the Municipality of Cremona, is within the framework of the LED project: Lighting Europe and Democracy and it aims at introducing young volunteers into the wide range of activities carried on by ALDA, in order to give them the opportunity to contribute to the process of cooperation and promotion of good local governance in the European Union, the Mediterranean area, the Balkans and in Eastern Europe.
The six selected volunteers will work in ALDA offices in Brussels, Strasbourg and Skopje, thus working consistently with the thematic focus of each team: more specifically supporting democracy in Europe and Eastern Europe for the ones in Brussels’ office, in the Mediterranean area for volunteers working from Strasbourg and in the Balkans for those located in Skopje.
The volunteers will assist the work of the project managers and they will be able to develop key competencies and professional skills in the field of project cycle management of a European project, as well as in communication, looking further into the theme of international cooperation supporting democracy at the local level.
The volunteers will receive an initial training provided by ALDA and our partners, in order to acquire the needed knowledge to kick-off their work experience in the best way!
