The document “EU as a neighbour: views from civil society” by the Finnish NGDO Platform to the EU, Kehys, invited civil society representatives from EU’s neighbouring countries to provide their insight and views on how it is to live with the EU as a neighbour. With the assistance of Nino Tvaltvadze, EAP Coordinator at ALDA, the publication presents the challenges and opportunities experienced by active citizens living in EU neighbouring countries.

Particularly, we draw you attention to the article “The European Neighbourhood Policy, Euromaiden, and What Comes Next”, drafted by Anzhelika Pylypenko, Delegate of LDA of the Dnipropetrovsk Region. The article analyses the revolution of Ukrainian dignity, and the essential role played by the ENP in the country. Pylypenko concludes claiming that the assistance of the ENP is now needed more than ever, to develop democracy in Ukraine by using the best practices of EU countries.
