DECENTRALISED COOPERATION BETWEEN LOWER NORMANDY AND MACEDONIA: MEETING OF THE MACEDONIAN PARTNERS (Skopje)

In Skopje, Macedonian partners had the opportunity to present the progress of their activities defined in the Action Plan 2011-2012 in the Decentralised cooperation between the region of Lower Normandy and the Republic of Macedonia.
In CIRa’s office, partner of the tourism component in the cooperation, the participants spoke about the activities and have redefined the problems and challenges for the fifth year of cooperation.
Representatives of each component presented their actions, but also discussed the importance of regional and local development. A point was made on the theme of European funds, and on Human rights, very present theme in the cooperation, particularly in the first component-ICT.
Thanks to Mr. Gallet, responsible for Regional Cooperation at the Franch Embassy in Macedonia, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the work of the embassy and the latest bilateral agreements signed between the two countries.
