Teacher Training Programme "Education against Corruption" in Osijek- Baranja County

Local Democracy Agency hosted a teacher training programme organized by the Forum for Freedom in Education. It is the first in a series of four teacher training programmes planned for teachers in primary and secondary schools , expert staff, unemployed teachers and students at Teacher Colleges.

Teacher training programmes are conducted in the framework of the project “Local Partnerships for Anti Corruption Education” in cooperation with the international organization the Network of Education Policy Centres, Local Democracy Agency from Osijek, Local Democracy Agency Sisak and Info zone from Split. The project is funded by the European Union and co-funded by the Croatia Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs and the City of Lausanne from Switzerland.

Anti-corruption education is one of the components of the civic education and implies that the teacher has competence to transfer to students knowledge , skills and attitudes relevant for a democratic society. This training has encouraged teachers to work with students in order to develop competencies characteristic of anti-corruption education , with the overall aim to make anti-corruption behaviour a regular practice in Croatian schools and society.

In addition, participants have been encouraged to creatively approach lectures on anti-corruption and apply them in schools , in order to bring this issue accross to students and to make them realise its social relevance.

 

U Osijeku održan seminar stručnog usavršavanja „Obrazovanje protiv korupcije“ za 25 nastavnika/ca iz Osječko-baranjske županije. 

29. i 30. Ožujka u Osijeku je održan seminar stručnog usavršavanja „Obrazovanje protiv korupcije“ koji je okupio 25 nastavnika/ca iz Osječko-baranjske županije. Domaćin seminara bila je Agencije lokalne demokracije iz Osijeka, a proveo ga je Foruma za slobodu odgoja. Radi se o prvom u nizu od četiri planirana seminara stručnog usavršavanja za nastavnike osnovnih i srednjih škola, stručne suradnike, nezaposlene nastavnike i studente učiteljskih i nastavničkih studija.

Seminari se provode se u sklopu projekta „Obrazovanje protiv korupcije“ u suradnji s međunarodnom organizacijom Network of Education Policy Centres, Agencijom lokalne demokracije iz Osijeka, Agencijom lokalne demokracije Sisak i Info zonom iz Splita. Projekt financira Europska unija, a sufinancira Ured za udruge Vlade Republike Hrvatske i Grad Lausannea iz Švicarske.

Antikorupcijsko obrazovanje jedna je od sastavnica građanskog odgoja i obrazovanja i podrazumijeva da nastavnik ima kompetencije na osnovu kojih može učenicima prenijeti znanja, vještine i stavove karakteristične za demokratsko društvo. Seminarom stručnog usavršavanja se potaknulo nastavnike da rade s učenicima na razvoju kompetencija karakterističnih za antikoruptivno obrazovanje, s konačnim ciljem da antikoruptivno ponašanje postane redovna praksa u hrvatskim školama i društvu.

Osim toga, sudionike se poticalo da na kreativan način pristupe predavanju o antikorupciji u školama, tako da ova tema postane bliska učenicima i da vide njenu društvenu važnost.


Programme de formation des enseignants « L’éducation contre la corruption » dans le Comitat d’Osijek-Baranja

L’Agence de démocratie locale d’Osijek (Croatie) a accueilli un programme de formation des enseignants organisé par le Forum for Freedom in Education. Il s’agissait de la première session d’une série de quatre interventions destinées aux enseignants du primaire et du secondaire, d’experts, d’enseignants sans-emploi et en devenir.

Ces programmes sont menés dans le cadre du projet « Partenariat local pour une éducation anti-corruption », en coopération avec le Network of Education Policy Center, l’Agence de démocratie local d’Osijek, l’Agence de démocratie local de Sisak et l’Info Zone de Split. Le projet est financé par l’Union européenne et cofinancé par le Bureau de coopération avec les ONG du gouvernement croate et la Ville de Lausanne.

L’éducation anti-corruption est une composante de l’éducation civique, et requiert des enseignants ayant les compétences nécessaires pour transmettre aux élèves des connaissances, compétences et attitudes conformes à la vie en société démocratique. L’objectif global est de faire des comportements anti-corruption une pratique régulière dans la société et dans les écoles croates.

De plus, les participants ont été encouragé à adopter des approches créatives dans leur enseignement, afin de permettre à leurs élèves la pertinence et l’impact concret des comportements anti-corruption.

L’ADL di Osijek, in Croazia, ha ospitato un corso per insegnanti organizzato dal Forum per la Libertà Educativa. È il primo di una serie di quattro corsi, realizzato al Teacher Colleges per insegnanti della scuola primaria e secondaria, per staff esperto, insegnanti disoccupati e studenti.

I corsi per insegnanti sono condotti nel contesto del progetto “ Partenariato Locale per l’Educazione Anti Corruzione” (Local Partnerships for Anti Corruption Education ) in cooperazione con l’organizzazione internazionale “Network dei Centri della Politica Educativa”, ADL di Osijek, ADL Sisak e Info Zone da Spalato. Il progetto è finanziato dall’Unione Europea e co-finanziato dall’Ufficio Amministrativo Croato per la Cooperazione con ONG e dalla città di Losanna (Svizzera).

L’educazione anti-corruzione è uno dei componenti dell’educazione civica e implica che l’insegnante acquisisca la capacità di trasferire ai suoi studenti questa conoscenza, queste competenze e abitudini, fondamentali per una società democratica. Il corso ha incoraggiato gli insegnanti a lavorare con gli studenti affinché si sviluppino competenze caratteristiche dell’educazione anti-corruzione, soprattutto con l’obiettivo di fare dell’anti-corruzione un atteggiamento comune, una regolare pratica, sia nella scuola, sia nella società croata.

Inoltre, i partecipanti sono stati incoraggiati a tenere lezioni creative sull’anti-corruzione nelle scuole, per affrontare questo tema con gli studenti, perché questi capiscano la sua rilevanza sociale.

ADL Осиек, в Хорватии, приняла курсы для преподавателей, организованные Форумом за свободу в образовании. Это первые из серии четырех курсов, осуществленных в Teacher Colleges для преподавателей начальной и средней школы, опытного персонала, безработных преподавателей и студентов.
Курсы для преподавателей велись в контексте проекта “Местное партнерство для антикоррупционного воспитания” (Local Partnerships for Anti Corruption Education) в сотрудничестве с международной организацией “Сеть центров образовательной политики”, ADL Oсиек, ADL Сисак и Инфо Зоны из Спалато. Проект финансировался Европейским Союзом совместно с Хорватским административным офисом по сотрудничеству с неправительственными организациями и городом Лозанной (Швейцария).
Антикоррупционное воспитание – один из компонентов гражданского воспитания и требует того, чтобы преподаватель приобретал способность передавать студентам эти знания, эти умения и привычки, фундаментальные для демократического общества. Курсы воодушевили преподавателей на то, чтобы работать со студентами над развитием характерной компетенции в антикоррупционном воспитании, прежде всего с целью сделать антикоррупционное поведение общепринятым, обычным явлением, как в школе, так и в хорватском обществе.
Кроме того, участников вдохновляли на ведение творческих уроков по анти-коррупции в школах, чтобы затронуть эту тему со студентами для того, чтобы они понимали общественное значение этого явления.

Dead Sea Regional Dialogues: New Perspectives For Cooperation Between European And Mediterranean Civil Society

At the beginning of this week, ALDA took part the First regional meeting of the EU Inter-institutional Steering Group on Civil Society on 30 and 31 March 2014 at the Dead Sea in Jordan on the topics of Mechanisms of Dialogue for Civil Society. The meeting was organised by the European External Action Service and Civil Society Facility in the Mediterranean with the aim to develop a structured regional dialogue between European Union institutions, governments and civil society in the boths sides of the Mediterranean.

This initiative was launched by the Commissioner Füle at the Anna Lindh Foundation Forum in April 2013 where ALDA was also present (see more under this link). This regional meeting aimed to construct a dialogue platform on media, but also and foremost on governance mechanisms and training of civil society and authorities. The proposals that will come up from this meeting will be taken up at a major civil society event in Brussels on 29th-30th April – the EU Southern Neighbourhood Forum.

ALDA was represented by Biljana Zasova, Head of Programme Implementation Unit and in charge of the Working group on Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation in ALDA.

La conferenza Diploma in tasca: cosa fare all’estero? si rivolge agli studenti delle classi terze, quarte e quinte delle scuole secondarie di secondo grado, oltre che a genitori ed insegnanti, per offrire una panoramica sulle molteplici opportunità all’estero riservate a questa fascia di età.

In particolare si affronteranno tramite dati e statistiche i cambiamenti demografici dei paesi europei, dando uno sguardo sui mestieri futuri e i trend occupazionali dei rispettivi mercati del lavoro. Verranno elencati i requisiti necessari per poter affrontare una esperienza all’estero di qualsiasi natura: studio, lavoro, stage o volontariato. Saranno infine presentate tutte le opportunità che il target studenti è in grado di affrontare all’estero: alla pari, seminari internazionali, campi di lavoro, volontariato di medio-lungo termine, lavoro stagionale, tirocinio, corsi di lingua e studio accademico.

Il relatore Bernd Faas di Eurocultura di Vicenza, opera da 25 anni nel settore della mobilità internazionale. La sua esperienza professionale riguarda l’orientamento, la preparazione e la realizzazione di attività nell’ambito del lavoro, stage, formazione e volontariato all’estero.

WTD workshop - Be part of Development!

Catch an important opportunity for development with the great workshop of WTD project, organised by ALDA, the Association of Local Democracy Agencies, in cooperation with the Enlargement, Pre-Accession and Neighbourhood (EPAN) Working group of CONCORD (the European Confederation of Relief and Development NGOs).

An important workshop that will take place in Bruxelles la 9th of April 2014, which will focus on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the post-2015 agenda of development policies from the perspective of local authorities and civil society organisations.

The event will provide the opportunity to share information and strengthen cooperation between LAs and CSOs or their associations and other relevant stakeholders of the post-MDG framework, while discussing the possible broadening of the post-MDG framework’s objectives and its implication with regards to the involvement of local actors and civil society.

Key stakeholders involved include:

– Local authorities and civil society organisations from the EU

– (Pre-)Accession and Neighbourhood countries International associations/platforms of LAs and CSOs (ALDA, CONCORD, Civicus, Platforma tbc)

– Representatives of EU institutions and UNDP Art (tbc)

 

The event is organised in the framework of the project WTD (Working Together for Development).

The event will take place on 9th April 2014, 09 :00 – 16 :00, at the Atrium building, Rue de la Science 14b – Brussels.

Catch an important opportunity for development with the great workshop of WTD project, organised by ALDA, the Association of Local Democracy Agencies, in cooperation with the Enlargement, Pre-Accession and Neighbourhood (EPAN) Working group of CONCORD (the European Confederation of Relief and Development NGOs).

An important workshop that will take place in Bruxelles la 9th of April 2014, which will focus on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the post-2015 agenda of development policies from the perspective of local authorities and civil society organisations.

The event will provide the opportunity to share information and strengthen cooperation between LAs and CSOs or their associations and other relevant stakeholders of the post-MDG framework, while discussing the possible broadening of the post-MDG framework’s objectives and its implication with regards to the involvement of local actors and civil society.

Key stakeholders involved include:

– Local authorities and civil society organisations from the EU

– (Pre-)Accession and Neighbourhood countries International associations/platforms of LAs and CSOs (ALDA, CONCORD, Civicus, Platforma tbc)

– Representatives of EU institutions and UNDP Art (tbc)

 

The event is organised in the framework of the project WTD (Working Together for Development).

The event will take place on 9th April 2014, 09 :00 – 16 :00, at the Atrium building, Rue de la Science 14b – Brussels.
