The Secretary General of ALDA, Antonella Valmorbida is currently in Algiers (Algeria) in a framework of a governance project of AETS (AETS – Application Européenne de Technologies et de Services). She will lead a team of experts and develop the National Guide for Participative Local Democracy, as well as a broad program of “Training of Trainers”. The project will be implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Interior and Local Authorities and supported by the European Commission.
“I can’t wait to start and meet the future participants of our training activities in 2017”, said Mrs Valmorbida. “New challenges are the fuel which allows us to continue, day after day, for the cause of local democracy and citizens’ participation”, she added.
