
The Vice President of ALDA Alessandro Perelli participated in the seminar on cross-border work held in Bolzano, in Sud Tirol, Italy, on 13 September.
The seminar was organised by UIL International within the project InArco, of which ALDA is a partner. In his speech, Perelli highlighted ‘the importance of ensuring the best juridical protection to these workers who interest different European territories, within the promotion of democratic rights which ALDA and UIL share’.
Perelli also pointed out the problems of cross-border work in the region Friuli Venezia Giulia, particularly in Trieste, where many workers come from the nearby Slovenia and Croatia.
The project InArco is tailored to increase awareness of the existing laws affective cross-border workers, in order to improve the protection ensured by collective contacts.
