
Local Democracy Agency (LDA) Mostar organize two-day training for secretaries of the Local Communities of the City of Mostar, as a part of the Project ”Improving local government services”. The topic of the training is “Importance and techniques of the planning process with the participation of citizens – (Participatory Planning Process).
Training will be held in Hotel Ero from 24 to 27 September 2013. Since the City of Mostar has 40 local communities, secretaries will be divided into two groups, for easy maintenance of the training.
Objectives of the project “Improving local government services” are to increase accountability of local authorities in the provision of public services, increase the quality of life through effective involvement of informed citizens in the design and implementation of local policies, based on the results of PULS’s methodology.
Obiettivi specifici:
1. Improve communication between citizens and councilors
2. Improve the capacity of local communities’ secretaries
3. Increase the awareness of the citizens about the competencies of local government The project is financially supported by the Open Society Fund BiH
