Rethinking Collaborative Values for Public Services – RECOV officially starts today – 1st March 2018 – and it will be implemented in the following two years by a consortium of 10 partners across Europe. The lead partner in the project is Municipality of Centar, Skopje. The overall coordination of the project is implemented by ALDA. The project is financed through the Europe for Citizens program.

The main project aim is to create a network of towns working together on the improvement of local governance through dialogue and participation. The project introduces innovative tools for citizen participation and initiative, thus creating opportunities for learning and sharing new solutions, as well as awareness raising on EU policies.
For that reason, 4 international events and numerous local activities will be implemented, involving the partners from Macedonia, France, Italy, Slovenia, Portugal, Serbia, Albania, Latvia, and Romania.
The first steering committee meeting will be held this month and soon, the preparations for the first International conference in Skopje will begin.
