On the occasion of 69° Venice International Film Festival, ALDA is pleased to forward the invitation by the Council of Europe Office in Venice to a special event  promoted by the Council of Europe and the Venice Biennale on 31st August 2012 on the topic of migration.
The event will start at 3.00 pm with the screening of the film “Mare Chiuso” by Segre and Liberti (65′) followed by a round table, at the Casinò Palace, Biennale Cinema venue.The topic of this event is: “Lost at sea: the human tragedy of the Mediterranean exodus”
The event is open to the public and free entrance, nevertheless we would be grateful if you could confirm your participation by e-mail to info.venice@coe.int in order to facilitate the access to the cinema: for all participants tickets will be available at the box office located in the Movie Village (outside the Casinò Palace).
