From Heritage to Economy: reinventing the policies of our territories

The association "Sites & Cités remarquables de France" organizes for its second National Congress (28-29 September) the event "From Heritage to Economy: reinventing the policies of our territories", a two-days debate on the role of heritage in local policies




The Conference will be organized in a series of workshops and plenary sessions, which will touch on topics like the importance of heritage a a way to boost tourism, on the issues of reconciling innovation and architectural quality in old buildings, on how to revive old city centres and much more. 

This event will gather French and international elected representatives, professionals, representatives of local authorities, networks and embassies and it is open to all to partecipate. Moreover, for members and partners of Sites & Cités, international partners, partners of the City of Calais, reporters and students there will be no registration fee, and simultaneous translations from French to English will be provided to all English speaking partecipants.
