RECOV: Implemented first Local Path in Italy
Union of Municipalities of Montiferru and Alto Campidano successfully realized the first Local Path within the project RECOV: Rethinking collaborative values for public services, where ALDA is coordinator.
The Union of Municipalities created Local participation group that involved associations, citizens, entrepreneurs, youngsters and CSOs, who participated to the first local path “How ICT could enforce Open Government”, held on 16th June 2018 in Cuglieri, Italy.
RECOV foresees organization of several local paths by each of the 10 involved partners in order to raise awareness on EU policies and create opportunities for learning and sharing, particularly ICT technologies that can be used to improve citizen participation and cooperation between the local authorities and the civil society.
The project also includes international events, the first of which is happening this week in Skopje (26-28 June). The lead partner of the project is Municipality of Centar, Skopje. It’s funded through the Europe for Citizens programme.
