Monumental 9 regional online trainings
Two regional online trainings for young local greeters, vloggers and bloggers were organized on 14th and 15th of July 2020 in the framework of the Monumental9 project.
The project is implemented by the Local Democracy Agency Montenegro along with the following partners: LDA Mostar, LDA Kosovo, LDA Zavidovici, LDA Prijedor, LDA Knjazevac, LDA Subotica & ALDA Skopje. It draws on the cultural heritage monuments dedicated to the WWII in the Western Balkans. The main objective is to create the preconditions for a new regional tourism products development while increasing youth employability and income generating activities through engaging micro-localities across the region.
In that perspective, both trainings provided information on what greeters, bloggers and vloggers should do to promote cultural heritage monuments in their own cities. The online program established a range of presentations to assist and equip young people with skills and competences to contribute to the sustainable tourism and the promotion of their local community’s richness.
The project is supported by the Regional Cooperation Council through the Tourism Development and Promotion Project's Grant Programme and funded by the European Union.
