“GOLDEN MASK” FOR THE DECENTRALISED COOPERATION PROGRAMME BETWEEN LOWER NORMANDY AND MACEDONIA
As recognition of the successful cooperation and the implemented activities of the Decentralised Cooperation Programme between Lower Normandy and Macedonia, the “Farmers’ Federation of the Republic of Macedonia”, FFRM, honoured the Programme with the “Golden Mask”.
During the ceremony of celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Federation (on 4 October) the award was presented to representatives of the Programme.
During the ceremony the vision of the FFRM and its cooperation and partnerships with organisations from the Balkans and European Union were presented.
The “Farmers’ Federation of the Republic of Macedonia” has been cooperating with the French organisation “French Farmers and International Development” (AFDI) for two years now, as partners for the component “Agricultural Development” which is implemented within the Programme for Decentralised Cooperation between Lower Normandy and Macedonia. In the framework of the component, a large number of activities have been implemented in order to strengthen the capacities of farmers, especially of dairy producers from Macedonia and Lower Normandy, and to contribute to the development of the agricultural policy.
The activities for strengthening the capacities of farmers and dairy producers within the component “Agricultural Development” will continue during the following year.
The decentralised cooperation between the Lower Normandy Region and Macedonia has been coordinated by ALDA for 5 consecutive years and will further develop.
